Welcome to Magic Maid! Before you book our services, please take a moment to review and understand our terms and conditions. By using this website to book our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms and conditions, please do not book our services.

Booking Confirmation

Booking a service online does not guarantee your preferred date and time. After you make a booking, we will contact you by email or phone to confirm the appointment.

Cleaning Crew

Our cleaning teams usually consist of one or two members, but occasionally more cleaners may be needed based on the complexity of the work or our schedule. Rest assured, all our employees have undergone rigorous background screening and drug testing. Keep in mind, that at times you may be expecting a cleaner in training tagging long our team. Not to worry, anything our cleaner in training does is checked but our full-time cleaners. 

Right To Refuse Service

We reserve the right to deny or terminate service in cases of safety concerns, inappropriate situations, the presence of weapons on the premises, severe clutter, or disconnected utilities. Our employees may also choose to leave if a home is in an unsanitary condition or if they feel unsafe or threatened.

Cleaning Day Preparation

To ensure efficient cleaning, we ask that you take a few minutes to tidy up the areas to be cleaned, such as floors, countertops, and tabletops. If you would like our cleaners to handle these tasks, please contact our office in advance to adjust your cleaning fee accordingly.

Add-On Services (Available for an Extra Charge)

We offer additional services, such as using eco-friendly products, cleaning interior windows, detailing blinds, and more, for an extra charge. Please let us know your preferences in advance.

Pets

We are pet-friendly and will work around your pets. However, we request that indoor activity be limited during cleaning for efficiency and safety. If a pet presents a safety concern or becomes anxious, we may need to adjust our services.

Service Fees

Our prices are based on our experience, but we may adjust them based on the actual condition of the house. If significant changes are needed, we will contact you to discuss price adjustments.

Payments

Payments must be made on the day of cleaning by check, cash, or credit card.

Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds but offer a 24-hour service guarantee, if an issue arises, please contact us within 24 hours, and we will rectify the error at no charge.

Recurring Service Discount

Recurring discounts start after the first cleaning service. If you skip cleanings and lower the frequency, your price may be adjusted accordingly.

Rate Increases

We may adjust your cleaning rate if there are changes to the frequency of service, your home situation, or other factors. Any rate increase will be communicated to you.

Lockouts

Please ensure access to your home on the scheduled service day. If we are locked out and cannot reach you within 30 minutes, the cleaning will be skipped, and a $50 late cancellation fee will be charged.

Rescheduling & Cancellations

We request a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling to avoid a $50 cancellation fee.

Alarm

If your home has a security system, ensure it is off or provide us with the code and proper directions for use.

Use Of Homeowner’s Vacuum

If you prefer to use your vacuum, please be aware that we are not liable for any damage or repairs to your vacuum unit.

Cleaning Supplies

We provide cleaning equipment and products. If you prefer to use your cleaning supplies, please have them ready before our arrival.

Items We Cannot Clean

We cannot clean mold or areas containing human and animal bodily fluids, among other specific items.

Unreachable Areas & Heavy Items

For safety reasons, we cannot climb higher than a step stool or move objects heavier than 35 pounds.

Breakage/Damage & Loss Policy

While we exercise care, breakage or damage may occur rarely. We carry insurance for damage caused by our cleaners.

Cleaners Arrival Window

We schedule cleanings within specific windows (8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm) While we aim to adhere to your requested time, no times are guaranteed due to the road conditions that we cannot control.

Holidays

We do not provide service on specific holidays.

Inclement Weather

We follow local school district closures due to inclement weather.

Keys

For security, we request that clients provide a secure lockbox with their house key.

Non-Solicitation Of Magic Maid Employees

Please refrain from soliciting or hiring our cleaning employees directly.

Governing Law

Any claim related to the Magic Maid website is governed by the laws of the State of Washington.

Changes to Terms & Conditions

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions without prior notice.
